Video Transcription A few people have asked me why I produce science videos. Of all the things you might produce why science? Well, I'm fascinated by the science world, and I've always wanted to be a scientist. When I was working in the television industry, I edited a wide variety of programs, that focused on wildlife and environmental conservation, along with medical research discovery, and it really triggered my imagination about science. So, when I had the chance, I left the television industry and started a science degree majoring in marine biology and ecology. It was there that I learned from some of the leading scientists in the world, and it was a wonderful experience. Following graduation, I gained a couple of different roles working with environmental agencies, which finally led to where I am now, working in the science communication field. I have the extraordinary opportunity to contribute my video production skills to help researchers share their knowledge and expertise and show the world how their research is making a wonderful impact to our world and the environment.
