Red Sunset

I took this on a warm evening when the smoke haze turned the sun a deep, impossible red — framed by dark palm fronds against a sky that glowed orange and charcoal. It's one of those shots that happens once and you know it the moment you press the shutter. On canvas, the contrast between the silhouetted fronds and that burning circle of sun is something else entirely. This one is a conversation starter and a statement piece in equal measure.
