Sunset Stretch
Moreton Bay at dusk — two boats, a pink sky, and nowhere to be. This is the end of a day on Moreton Bay, shot from the water flowing out toward the sandy islands that stretch across the horizon. A motor cruiser and a sailing catamaran sit at anchor on calm, pewter-grey water, the mangrove-lined shore low and still behind them. The sky has gone all pink and pale blue, the kind of dusk that arrives softly and stays just long enough to take the photo. I love this image for the quiet it holds — the sense that you are somewhere sheltered and unhurried, with no reason to move on. On canvas it works in a living room, a bedroom, or a holiday rental — anywhere you want a daily reminder that places this peaceful still exist. 5% of every Salty Wave canvas poster sold is donated to support conservation and environmental causes.
