Can I use photos instead of video?
Of course! You can mix and match photos, video, audio, and graphics - or just use one type of media. Choose whatever works best for your story.
Can I interview specialists?
Definitely! You’re encouraged to interview specialists, refer to published literature, or invite collaborators to share their thoughts. It’s all about telling your story in the way that feels right to you.
Is there a limit to how many people I can interview?
No limits here! You can interview as many specialists as you’d like.
Can I design my own graphics?
Yes! Feel free to create your own graphics. Just remember to be mindful of copyright, especially if you use AI tools or other software. Programs like Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint are great options.
What kind of music can I include?
You have total creative freedom! Pick any music that fits your project - or skip music altogether if you prefer.
Do I need to narrate my video myself, or can someone else do it?
You can record your own voice, ask someone else to narrate, or even use AI software to create a voiceover. Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Can I share my video or podcast on social media?
You own your creation and can share it on your social channels or include it in your portfolio. Don't forget to mention the Eco Doco program!

Can I buy music for my video or podcast?
Yes, you can! You’re welcome to purchase music from commercial databases or use free tracks from various stock media providers. Just remember to credit the music in your project, for example:

Do I need to do everything myself, or can I get help?
You don’t have to go it alone! Invite friends and family to help if you’d like. How you produce your documentary is entirely up to you.
I’ve never made a video like this before. Does it have to be complicated?
